Mud Volleyball:  8/17/2019

An important fundraising event for the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut.  Great fun to watch! 

Special Event Station K1E will operate from Friday afternoon until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Visitors are encouraged to participate.  Special Event QSLs will be awarded.

Cycle for Life

Fundraising event for the Cystic Fibrosis Founbdation, With hundreds of cyclists participating, we provide communications for each of several skill classes.  Originating in Middletown, both 25- and 50-mile courses are planned for 2019

Durham Fair
9/26 thru 9/29/2019

At this large Agricultural Fair in Durham, CT, we demonstrate a variety of modes used in Amateur Radio.  Several stations are on the air, using CW, Voice, and Digital modes, depending upon propagation conditions.  Visitors are encouraged to operate the stations and are provided with an introduction to the hobby.

Portland Agricultural Fair
10/4 thru 10/6/2019

The Portland Agricultural Fair in Portland, CT is well-attended, offering livestock, tractor pulls, oxen pulls, as well as many craft and hobby booths. The Middlesex Amateur Radio Society presents a booth demonstrating many of the aspects of amateur radio,  A Special Event Station offers unique QSLs to all stations contacted during the Fair, and provides the opportunity for visitors to "Get On The Air".
